What Does ICT JILLA Mean?

I try to add meaning in everything that I do. So, when it was time to come up with a stage name for my Christian music career; I had to take some time to think about my brand and what it would evoke and represent forever.

After a day or two of thinking, God finally gave me something: ICT JILLA.

So, what does ICT JILLA mean? ICT JILLA is an acronym that I created and it means: “I confess that Jesus is Lord and Lives Always”.

Yes, I know. I can sound a bit much at first.

But why did I choose that meaning? I chose that meaning because that’s the end result of what I want my music to achieve. Not just my music but my videos, my lyrics, my beats and my entire.

I want to be an instrument that leads people to a genuine faith in Jesus. But not just blind or silent faith, but a bold confession backed by a real relationship with our Lord and Savior: Jesus Christ.

To Him be all the glory, honor and praise forever and ever, amen.

Album in Progress

I’m currently working on my first album. The name isn’t final yet but I am thinking of calling it “Have You Tried Following Jesus?”. The whole theme at the moment is centered around the challenges and successes we face when following Jesus.

I also want the album to make you and me look in the mirror and ask ourselves if we are truly living as true believers. I’ve recorded 3 songs so far and I’d like the album to have about 10-14 songs in total.

Making God-centered music requires a lot of mindspace and resources. I’d appreciate your help in making this album happen.
